Qibiao Wang

How has your life changed since you won one of the major prizes in the MCO?:
To be honest, the $40,000 grand prize improves my financial situation significantly. I can use it to cover my tuition in Clark University. Furthermore, I have more passion and motivation on this royal game.
How do your friends and family feel about you winning?:
They feel FANTASTIC! My friends watched my entire final match from the MC App. I received dozens of 'Congratulations' when I just finished the match. Thanks to all my friends supporting me.
Why did you decide to play in MC#1?:
As a chess player, I think I should support everything that will raise chess to a higher level. When I first learned the Millionaire Chess from my friend Freddie Fan, I began my research on this event and tried to invite my chess friends in China to attend. It's amazing to see GM Bu, Xiangzhi, GM Yu, Yangyi in the MC#1. We haven't seen over years.
What did you most like about MC#1?:
I like the portraits of world champions; I like volunteers who served water in the playing hall; I like the Millionaire Chess team making this event a success; I love Mr. Maurice Ashley and Ms. Amy Lee!
What would you like to see different next year?:
'd like to see more Grandmasters, more teachers and students, more parents and kids, and more Chinese players in the next year. I'd like to see more people enjoy this event.
Will you attend MC#2 again next year?:
No matter where and when the MC#2 will be held, I will attend for sure.
